With a car, there are thousands of exciting and beautiful tours to do around the mountains, either with us or on your own. See our list of suggested trips. If you are a biker we especially welcome you as we are bikers ourselves and have done a few trips - in 2004 we drove 7000 kilometers to Turkey and back.
Visit the quiet and beautiful pastures of Payolle, scene of a famous maquis battle or drive through the Bielsa tunnel to Spain, with fabulous gorges and canyons the other side, and very cheap alcohol and cigarettes which you can buy and take back almost without limit.
There are also markets of all sorts, including antique markets, where you can pick up extraordinary bargains and sample some of the regions superb products
We really recommend you travel by car either driving direct or using a fly/drive facility.
