We take this to all the fairs we exhibit at and you are welcome to browse it’s contents!
We also have lots of guests who don’t fill in our book as they have been many times before, and like everybody else we also have guests who are disappointed, and rather not comment.
However these comments give you the most accurate view about us and what we offer so please read them. Here are this year's 2009 comments We only had 2 arseholes this year - a butcher from Vire who enjoyed boasting how he ran over cats and how the english ate like pigs (quite why he came escapes me) and another gentleman of the same nationality whose surname means "Macho" and behaved accordingly. They both left early. Apart from these two misfits, everybody else representing some 16 different nationalities were wonderful, lovely, gentle people.

 

Dear Peter & Manuela, being here was like coming home. The very open and honest conversations made us feel very good as if we knew both of you quite a lon time. Although we only met one other \French couple with whom we could not really conversate because of the language difference we had very much fun together and with you. Beste Peter en Manuela, We hebben genoten van het weekje,11 tot 17 September, in jullie hotel. De gastvrijheid voelde als een warme deken. Het weer was prachtig en we hebben genoten van de prachtige omgeving. De rust daar kwamen we voor na een drukke periode van hard werken. we zijn heerlijk uitgerust en hopen zeker nog eens terug te komen. Het eten was erg goed en lekker, maar ook de sfeer aan tafel vonden we bijzonder. Met ons gebrekkige engels en Manuela als tolk hebben we ons aardig gered tussen de Fransen en Engelsen. Nu we weer thuis zijn genieten we nog steeds na en kijken er heel fijn op terug. Geniet van de rust deze wintermaanden en succes verder met alles. Groetjes A en L

We verbleven hier van 27 April t/m 2 Mei 2008, voor een zeer (ont)spannende korte vakantie.
1 ste dag waren er nog gasten, daar hebben ons met een jong stel goed mee “vermaakt”, daarna waren wij hier koning en koningin te rijk! En dat zelfs op koninginnedag!
Fijne trip naar Spanje gemaakt.
Peter en Manuela waren onze gidsen. Super, echt heel veel moois gezien!
Het weer was voor ons helemaal goed. Ca. 20 graden.
Lekker uitgerust en nu weer de extra kilo,s wegwerken, van al dat lekkere eten.
Gezellige praat avonden. We nemen deze warme herinneringen met ons mee…. We komen zeker terug!

It’s a smashing idea to sit at the same table together and share conversation freely, whilst enjoying the wonderful food that you served to us all.
Our room was gorgeous and very relaxing. The bathroom divine.
As we are sure you probably noticed we also met a very special couple, Bob and Helen whom we spent some very special time with and feel we have made life long friends in them.
They also made our first visit to France even more special.
We are so pleased to hear that they stayed a few more days to enjoy and relax particularly as the weather was so good.
Bob and I spent considerable time teaching Darron 2 new words “ Next Time” , referring to our next holiday! and I’m very pleased to say this very evening he said “ he looks forward to returning to Peyraille!!!!! I had to tell you both as its so exciting. Hopefully it wont take us so long to arrive on your door step next time!
It was worth waiting 24 years for our first holiday abroad and we are so pleased we chose to stay with you at Peyraille.
We have booked up to go to Erotica and will be in London for 4 nights.

This was our second stay with you; this time a bit longer and you were right. We need at least four days to feel comfortable and enjoy the surroundings, the spirit of the house and to get used to your cats! Lieve vrienden, Het was fijn, goed voor ons, blij met deze eerste ervaring, een experiment op nieuw terein. Het was veilig om dat hier te doen, dank zij Jullie inspirerende leiding op de achtergrond. Beste Manuela en Peter Wij hebben het erg naar onze zin gehad de afgelopen week. Jullie zijn geweldig om zo’n gemoedelijke sfeer neer te zetten, ondanks het verschil in mensen die hier waren. Het voelde als een familie. De avonden waren erg gezellig, het eten was zeer goed. Dus Peter als je kookboek klaar is geef ons een seintje en wij zijn de eersten die een boek willen kopen. We arrived with apprehension and grew to expand our life’s experience in the most wonderful ways. The ambiance was inviting and the cuisine could only be described as superb. Many thanks to Manuela & Peter for providing a center for friendship and joy. We will always remember this experience and our host and hostess, not to mention our new friends. Dear Peter & Manuela, Returning for our second visit, we had high hopes that it would live up to the first. We’ve been delighted to find that our hopes have been well and truly surpassed! As always, the welcome has been warm; the company stimulating and the food fabulous. (oh, and the “rencontres” were wonderful too!)

Peter en Manuela. Hartelijk dank voor de prettige week op jullie mooie terein. Het was ontspannen na een drukke tijd in Nederland en we hebben ons heerlijk laten verwennen door het zorgvuldig bereidde smaakvolle diner en de conversaties aan tafel. Het was prettig kennis te maken met jullie en enkele van de andere gasten, helaas was het contact met de Fransen wat moeilijker. Geeft niet, we zijn een stuk relaxter geworden na deze week, al was de sex nog moeilijk voor ons. Misschien een Tantra cursus in Nederland? Een heel fijne zomer nog togewenst! Wendy en Arie

 

What can we say? We had a relaxed and wonderful holiday. We met some new friends and some old friends too. The food was excellent! The company was nice and of course the dinner conversations was great! Love from Ann sofie and Nicholas from Sweden

 

Even after a lifetime of travelling it is rare to meet such kind and thoughtful hosts as Peter and Manuela. They have created a magical environment in a place of outstanding beauty that combines comfort, friendliness and all the feelings of a welcoming “home”. We came to Peyraille with open hearts and minds – and leave with the most precious of memories and the simple wish to return very soon.
